Ren has been with us for many years now and we just adore her and her enthusiasm for everything. Always making everyone laugh she is a killer Pilates practitioner and an all round fab human. Find ren on the schedule Monday- Friday across all our studios 💫🩷

We are really excited to be bringing fresh content to TSC on demand regularly again. The most recent workout filmed on the weekend will be dropping onto our site very soon. TSC on demand is perfect if you are travelling or if you just want to get a home workout in. Tech time: Tabletop 💫

Whether you are newer to Pilates or would just like to brush up on your technique- working in table top is a foundation movement.

Set up the legs with the knees directly over the hips and ankles in line with the knees.

Aim to keep your body in a neutral spine - if you are unable to hold a neutral position just simply flatten your back to the mat or carriage imprinting your spine down - which will offer to support to your low back.

Any movements away from the body - move with care to keep the pelvis and hips stable
When opening the hips out to the side be mindful to keep the opposite hip heavy down on to the mat or carriage to avoid rolling around. By keeping this stability in your hips and pelvis it will allow a strong connection to the deep abdominal muscles.

This video is sped x 2. Try and keep the muscles moving slowly with control and precision- it is easy to fall into the trap of trying to do everything quickly as if it’s a race but remember the longer the muscles are under load or working the more effective it will be 💫
